Since it inception in 1977 Geranium Corporation has grown to become a fully integrated land development & house construction company employing a full complement of professional staff involved in planning engineering financing building and law.

As Geranium Homes the firm has built more than 6 000 homes in southern Ontario with residential developments ranging from Windsor Cambridge and Brampton in the west to Bowmanville and Port Hope in the east and north from the GTA in Richmond Hill Aurora and Stouffville up to Barrie. While Geranium Homes' primary focus is low rise development the company successfully spearheaded one of the first downtown Toronto office building conversions to residential condominium at 555 Yonge Street.

Current residential projects include Cardinal Point a unique townhome master planned community in Stouffville; At Home an in-town neighbourhood in Bowmanville; Heritage a bungalow retirement community in Port Hope.

As land developers Geranium's portfolio includes a number of prestigious and ambitious projects in various stages of development. In Simcoe County Geranium is a major participant involved in planning for the growth of the area - where the population is projected to increase to more than 667 000 by 2031 in increase of approximately 228 000 over Simcoe's 2006 population. Geranium's involvement will include new developments planned for number of the county's municipalities including Innisfill Springwater Oro-Medonte and Bradford-West Gwillimbury.

Perhaps the company's most significant project for which marketing and construction is planned for 2010 is the Big Bay Point Resort. This spectacular resort development on the western shore of Lake Simcoe is 10 minutes from Barrie and 45 minutes north of Toronto. Featuring a 1000-slip marina an 18 hole Doug Carrick-designed championship golf course sporting recreational and cultural activities and boutique shopping; set alongside 190 acres of environmentally-protected forested parkland Big Bay Point Resort will house 1 600 resort condominium units and 400 resort hotel rooms.
